About Dr. Koch....

Education:

Originally from Wildwood Crest NJ, Dr. Koch graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School.  He then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Stockton State College, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College in Marietta, Georgia.  He continually attends seminars to stay up to date with what is "cutting edge" in Chiropractic.  Dr. Koch is currently licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Chiropractic Technique:

A chiropractic adjustment is the art of using a specific force in a precise direction, applied to a joint that is fixated, "locked up", or not moving properly. This adds motion to the joint, helping the bones gradually return to a more normal position and motion. The purpose of this safe and natural procedure is improved spinal function, improved nervous system function, and improved health.

There are many ways to adjust the spine.  Dr. Koch uses a wide range of techniques that range from the very gentle to the traditional "hands on" chiropractic techniques.  Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, Sacro Occipital Technique, HIO, Cox,  and Thompson (drop table) are the most common techniques that Dr. Koch uses.  He also utilizes motorized traction tables to help patients who suffer from disc problems.  His goal is to deliver the most appropriate technique for each patient.

Our Patients and Our Office:

Dr Koch treats patients of all ages.  Because his office is located in Washington Twp., NJ, most of his patients are from Gloucester County.  His practice is a mix of pediatric and family care, people with experiencing disk bulges and herniations, and also many of South Jersey's senior citizens.   Because of his love of sports, he treats athletes of all ages.  Dr. Koch has been in private practice at his current location since 1994.

Dr. Koch is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, and the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.  He has also been a member and past president of the South Jersey Business Network since 1994.
